The Skipworth Wine Company is an award-winning boutique vineyard & winery located atop the Darling Scarp, 120km south of Perth.

We are located 3.5km east from the South West Highway in Yarloop. A picturesque, winding drive will bring you to our hilltop location with views across the coastal plain to the Indian Ocean.

Our cellar door is the perfect place for groups to enjoy a casual glass of wine or picnic with outdoor patio, seating and picnic tables available.

The Skipworth Wine Company's rustic cellar door constructed in old fashioned Australian style by Kim Skipworth - limestone block walls with tin roof and verandah, fronted by large rose bushes with red and white flowers and surrounded by dense forest
An elderly man and woman sitting at a wooden picnic table outdoors in a scenic forest setting, clinking glasses of red wine, with a bottle of wine on the table, enjoying a sunny day with blue skies and a view of open fields in the distance.

We invite you to enjoy a friendly and educational wine tasting experience with owner/operator Kim Skipworth who has been involved in the wine industry in Western Australia for over 30 years.

In addition to our renowned red wines, the range includes SBS, sparkling wines, ports and muscat.

The Skipworth Wine Company is only 15 minutes drive from Logue Brook Dam / Lake Brockman with popular campgrounds, picnic sites and tourist park.

“Opened your 2010 Petit Verdot last night and shared with friends. Absolutely magic. We love visiting your winery as you get good conversation along with fantastic wines. Always end up coming out with a mixed dozen invariably with your amazing Shiraz in the mix.”

- Kaylene

“Such a beautiful location and WELL WORTH the little drive to get there. The owner was incredibly passionate about his craft and the industry as well as being generous with his time, knowledge and tastings.”
